Using datalink weather products like ADS-B and SiriusXM can make your flying safer, easier, and more fun - but only if you know what you're doing. In this information-packed webinar, you'll learn practical tips for smart weather flying from an experienced pilot and a meteorologist.

From the basics to practical applications, here's what you'll learn:
- How radar works and what its limitations are
- The different types of satellite imagery, and what they really say
- Tips for getting the most out of METARs, including the RMK section
- How ADS-B and SiriusXM weather receivers work
- What the options are for portable receivers, including Stratus and Scout
- Dangerous radar signatures and what to avoid
- How to use icing forecasts and satellite imagery to avoid in-flight icing

Then you'll go flying on four real world trips to see how this information gets applied. See why the radar image doesn't always match the view out the window, why you need to check your assumptions, and what the four rules of safe weather flying are.
