How to Show Steps on Apple Watch Face

Apple Watch is of course capable of tracking your daily steps, however, you can't really show them on your Apple Watch face. I know many people that would love to have this visible on their Watch face or home screen on the Apple Watch. This is is a video on how you can do it, and how you can do it easily.

I honestly hope that you liked this video.

The app I was talking about in the video:

Coming from fitbit, I was disappointed that I couldn’t display my steps on my brand new Apple watch face. Siri directed me to your you tube video and now I have the steps on my face thanks to you!!!
Very clear and easy directions!

The problem with this app that steps count is not accurate. It’s more than 2000-3000 steps than steps from apple health or Fitbit. Apple has to have it available on the clock face without using a 3 d party app. This is so important feature for so many people

Thank you! Downloaded the suggested app. Apple needs to make it possible to track steps on the watch face without a complication edit. This makes me miss my FitBit.

Is it too much to ask for a real-time step counter on my $350 Apple watch face??? My $24.00 fitness watch shows time, date (including day of week), heart rate, and real-time step counter at-a-glance!!! It also pairs with my Apple phone for music/podcasts/phone/text.

Thank you. I really needed to look at that counter on the regular so I can make more effort to meet the daily goal.

Helpful, but you go a little fast for me, especially scrolling on the watch.

My problem is that pedometer ++ and the apple watch don't agree on step count. I'd be fine if it was off by even ~5% or so, but the difference is thousands between the number. If I do a 12k step day according to the watch, Pedometer ++ tells me I've done 15k steps.

Thank you! I just got the SE 2nd gen. And this was just what I needed on my watch face. Very clear instructions!

With this does it constantly update the step count or do you have to click on the complication for it to update like other apps

Is there a way to get the steps bigger instead of the default rings? I don’t like the small corner version for steps

Doesn’t work for me on Apple Watch Series 3, pedometer++ is installed on the watch but it doesn’t show up in complications

This is going to sound crazy but I actually miss my Fitbit. I got a real great deal on an open box Series 9 but have one more week to return it. My focus is on steps and activity. I feel like the Apple Watch does way more than what I need it to do. I just need it to tell time and give me a real time update on my activity

I'm an Android/Garmin (past Fitbit) owner. Just checking in to see if Apple watch supports the common feature of steps and distance on the watch face. Great video for this issue👍🏼

Thank you, but how do I add it to the bottom. When I try to change the bottom, there’s no “pedometer “
