The warranty expired 30, 000 miles ago. Of course Dodge isn't going to cover it. No one would.

Definitely! Had Chrysler Town and Country Limited. What a piece of junk that was. Almost everything failed and was replaced. Thank God I had the extended warranty from the dealer. After the warranty went out the transmission failed again. Never again. Toyota, Nissan, or Honda. From now on. They hold the value better than American brand cars in most part.

My wife’s 2010 T&C was total garbage. Transmission clunked going into 2nd, which dealership said was normal. Head replaced at 90k, AC condenser lines replaced, front wheel bearings & passenger side sliding door dying were among the issues. She now has a RAV4 and loves it.

My dad loved his Mopar products and he never, EVER had a problem with them. I on the other hand, had nothing but problems with used Mopar vehicles, except my 65 Plymouth Valiant with the best engine and transmission ever built. The Slant 6 with the Push Button torque Flight transmission. Wish I STILL had the whip. I LOVED it 😊😊

She should have bought something else with $6000 AND parted out the van

How many of you have companies that routinely do costly work well past any warranty?

Limited Liability Corporation means you can't go after the assets of the ownership beyond what they have already invested in the corporation.

A German car manufacturer buys an American company and Destroys it, who would have

All vehicles if only modestly maintained should be warranteed to 100k miles. Any manufacturer who doesn't knows they are making dogshit.

I daily drive a 35 year old Chrysler. For the last 17 years. Works just fine.

Don’t even enter the Chrysler dealership

Something similar happened to me with respect to my 2017 Chevy Camaro SS. At only 27, 000 miles, the entire transmission (a 6-speed Tremec manual) tore up. The warranty was still in effect, but Chevy told me that the transmission was a “wear and tear” item and thus not covered. Consequently, I had to cough up $5, 000 for a new transmission. And mind you, I didn’t drive the car hard, and I wasn’t “grinding gears.” This is the only American made car I’ve purchased in my life (I’m 63), and it will be the last.

More Internet garbage. I own a Dodge charger and a Dodge hornet. My wife has a grand Cherokee. Zero problems with any of them.

Solid advice. Buying an SUV to replace my car. Looking at Toyota, Honda, and Subaru. Love the choices.

I do my own oil change and replace ignition coils when needed.
2007 dodge Dakota 170, 000 only parts that I replaced stereo/cd player for Bluetooth and Blower-motor. Running great but nothing lasts forever.
