This is definitely a good tip. Not so much for Ds as it is for Ds2. If you plan on clearing the area and fight the boss its a necessity without changing weapons.

Also good for weapons with special attacks that use up durability, like the Moonlight Sword, Dragonslayer Spear and Iron Golem Axe

I played DS1 at least 5 times and never once needed to use a repair powder or had a weapon break on me. I mean it’s fine to keep on hand, but kind of an idiot tax since you should fix your stuff when your sitting at the campfire regardless of anything else

I have never used repair powder, and none of my weapons has come near breaking on my runs

Repair powder sucks in ds1 it’s almost never worth using unless you have like 30 also carry a weapon you can swap to
