Very fun idea but yeah, those white blood cells need the whole immune response system. They detect the bacteria, send chemical signals to the body saying “yo this is what we need” and the next set of WBCs come with the right chemical ammo to destroy the bacteria.

You can see some of this process by the other WBCs shaking and going nuts. But it was VERY cool to see thank you!!

In the lab, off you want to setup this experiment correctly, you need to consider target (bacteria) to effector (white blood cell) cell ratio. 10:1 is a fair fight. You have 10^6:1

Idk if I'm right but, i think it did not won because this normally would cause an imune response calling even more imune cells to that place, and also make some antibodies (idk if this is obvious too)

Yes that would be awesome try all different kinds of antibiotics. I've always wanted to see the antibiotic dirt/mud from Italy that Roman's would use for wounds under the microscope.

This shows blood has life in it, even when you removed the blood out of your body still the white blood cells are alive and fighting the bacteria.
