I have "Camp Carnage" and keep forgetting about it. I recently read (and loved) "To be devoured" by Sara Tantlinger and it's a short queer horror story. I enjoyed "Into the Drowning deep" as well.

Very good selection! Three of these went straight (no pun intended) into my shopping cart. I'd be very interested in more recommendations like these, I've always felt the horror genre in particular could use a bit more diversity, and I want to support authors who are working on that.

Thank you for this! I have a line up for the month, but I feel like I could have been more diverse. This video has become a checklist for me.

Great video, Rachel! Cabin was a favourite of mine, too, as you know. I really want to read Camp Carnage. Let The Right One In is so good. It’s also a favourite.

I've never heard of The Bone Mother, but that sounds really great. I think that's the one out of all of these that I'm most likely to pick up! Hmm, The Dark Beneath the Ice sounds good, though that's a little disappointing that the possession element isn't stronger. I think I need to reread Into the Drowning Deep. I'm fairly certain I rated it 3 stars, but I remember liking it a lot more than that.

Let the Right One In is my favorite horror novel! Love that you included it. Have you read the Devourers by Indra Das? It has LGBTQ and horror themes.
