I think the colour palette in the new one is quite desaturated compared to the original. I liked the over the top vibrant colours in the original, it gave it a unique cartoony look. That was probably down to the graphical limitations of the PSX but I think it added character and charm to the game

i wish this was one of those halo remake moments where while playing you could hit a button and the game would switch between ps1 and ps4 versions.

The lighting on the mask towards the end should've been similar to the PS1 version. It gave this mysterious aspect to the evil mask that made me want to play so I can know what it looks like. Other than that it looks cool

I liked how at 0:20 in the ps1 version, the animations on the boulder had more personality and were issagerated, notice how the boulder jumps over the slopes/bumps and entering the log.

It's all about nostalgia for me... Loved it when I was younger so it's a must....

0:09 so its a crate box with fruit in it. I always thought it was only box with lines 😂

They did a great job with this, looks like a lot of effort went into it. I hope it does well because it really deserves to and then they may remake more PS1 games in the future. Looking forward to play this in the next few days.
