This is to me just another version of My family and other animals.Where this is filmed many will love this. The original version of my Family and other animals was a whole lot better and it had much more to it than what this trash made version does not have. The original had so much more to show and it had our much loved big Brian Blessed from Flash Gordan. Its on two discs and in 11 eposides. It shows much more than what this 3 seasons does not show. This one is just a waste of time. Its so bad that even the very short 90 minute version showed much more than this 3 seasons.I dont even know why they made this because the other two before this did show far much more. This 3 seasons shows nothing worth viewing.Then again were all different and many will like this trash made garbage rip of version.Many others who liked the first ones out before this will prefare the other ones more. Im talking about the original two disc with Brian Blessed and the 90 minute short version.both far much better than this trash. As i said were all different and not everyone will like this 3 seasons crap.it does not even have the beauty that was in the other two. Its supose to be about young Gerald Durrells early childhood in corfu.everything he done and not what his family done. He does not do very much in this.but the other ones he does much more and we see him more.not just in some scenes and many other scenes with his family and not him.
