thought you were one of the people who really fear ai. convinced myself too keep watching and didn't regret it. not using ai is like not using a computer. can be fun but not efficient!

Ai is cray, I feel it is so helpful when I was working in my previous MDM roles.

I've felt this way recently, and trying to explain the coming horizon to people especially non-technical ones, it goes right over their heads. They just squint at me with a concerned skeptical look. Subscribed!

I'm interviewing for a job right now. Senior or team lead dev. None of them have a clue. I'm aiming for the biggest slowest company I can find with a work from home policy - so I can crank out a ticket in the morning using o1-mini... Then spend the rest of the day BANGING MY HEAD ON THE DESK working out wtf I am going to do when everyone else works out what is happening. To solve a business problem you have to be close to a business problem and I'm not close to anything, you need a connection into somewhere. Because in a world where you can create software at the click of a mouse that's the only capital, connections, proximity to a problem. And in a few years when the AI doesn't need it's hand held and it's agentic and normos catch on... software is dead. Only thing left is product manager. In time the hierarchy collapses from the bottom up until all you have left is a CEO and a pile of shareholder cash. It's MADNESS and most people, even people who follow and use AI don't have a scooby.

You did not mention about the following; NotebookLM for podcast, ChatGPT for desktop Windows, Orion (strawberry) via O1 leak (not the preview), ChatGPT Search, etc. You missed a lot of AI stuff.

but if spotify or apple music or some other streaming company bankrupts, or streaming goes out of fashion? what will happen, will legacy media return?

Is this the famous AI takeoff scientists like Nick Bostrom etc. were talking about? A takeoff for AGI without control or a 'kill switch'?

Love the passion for this... and yea... headasplode!!! I'm a long term dev. currently building an app.. from scratch... in a language I've never worked with. The LLM is CRAZY accurate.

Hi there! My first comment ever: THIS is 100% how I feel and think about the AI development and I am unable to keep up too. Too much stuff to follow up and understand. Each new workflow trying to be on the winners side of this game is obsolete a week later.

All interdisciplinary expertise in all directions won in over 20 years as independent entrepreneur in 3D, VR, graphics, brand development and marketing is getting worthless right before my eyes.

And most others having no clue about what is coming towards them at starship speed too.

Will be an other world soon.
