Dad finally retired a few months back and bought the 17 pro model with the 75 mercury. I didn’t know what to expect, but’s a awesome, smooth riding vessel with lots of power. I swear that 75 Merc feels just like a 90hp or even a bit more. Crazy. He’s happy with it and that makes me happy.

I don’t understand anyone would buy that at that price. Its so easy to find a very good hull where the user got overwhelmed or too old, ditch their broken motor for a new one and be in a full offshore v hull the same price.

My dad just recently got a 16' 2004 stratos 170 javelin series with a 2003 yamaha 115 2 stroke for 2 k from a buddy of his and all it needed was a carb clean, he's really happy with it, 6 months later he started thinking about a newer trolling motor, because I'll be up front trolling and it will stop all of a sudden for about 15 minutes at times and he got a new garmn unit, the fishfinder up front needs to be replaced because its non colored and turns off sometimes, so my dad says stop because he sees fishing his, and money doesn't read anything except the bottom, of course he has a fishfinder that's worth about 15 k and I jave one worth about 500 bucks 😅😅😂😢
