Finding Nemo - Nemo Egg | Thomas Newman Cover By Chris Doughty *Read Description*

Hello! My name is Chris and here is a cover of "Nemo Egg", a song composed by Thomas Newman from the Disney/Pixar movie "Finding Nemo". Thomas Newman writes some of the most beautiful movie scores I've ever heard, so this was a blast to do! :)

The original song is about 1:17 long, so I thought it would be fun to add to it and see where it could go! :) I first covered the original "Nemo Egg" song as close as I could complete with strings and sound effects and whatnot, then I wrote an extra couple minutes of my own material and then at the end of the song I return to the original melody with a few of my own little chord and arrangement variations. I decided to make a music video of this little project (I also added a few clips from the movie to make it more fun!), so I really hope you enjoy what I came up with!!

AAANNDDD if you haven't seen "Finding Nemo", you should really see it and check out the amazing music Thomas Newman composed for it!! It's such a good movie!

You may never read this, since this video was posted more than 7 years ago ... but I want to say how wonderful this version of the song is. The original was already perfect, but you absolutely perfected every aspect of it, from the sound of the waves to the unprecedented stretch you extended. I was really touched. This is the kind of music I would like to hear at my wedding, on your distant day. Thank you so much for this marvel.
