I think there was so much more information that could have been shared.

I’m surprised character dining wasn’t mentioned. Personally I found the variety of characters to be so different than WDW.

Another tip is that you can also bring your own drinks and snacks into the park. I realize you can do that at WDW too but if someone found this video without any knowledge of WDW I think it’s an important to share.

I would also recommend looking at park calendars because I think people who visit WDW automatically expect there will be fireworks every single night at magic kingdom. That’s not the case at DL.

And most importantly: check a crowd calendar, it gets reaaaally packed! So yeah you can technically “arrive at anytime”...if your plan is just to walk around bumping into thousands of other people only to be able to get on a ride or two.

Disneyland's walkability, food offerings, and the fact that you don't have to begin planning a minimum of 6 months in advance make this park far superior to WDW. Sure it's smaller, but it's also more manageable and leaves you more open. Walk to DCA for lunch from Disneyland and still make that 1P fast pass for space mountain?, no problem. Walk back to your hotel for an afternoon nap in the middle of the crowds? That's not a big deal either, and you don't have to waste an hour each way doing it by bus. Oh yeah, and the weather's usually better (which i know was mentioned in the video).

The extra room in WDW means more room to expansion though. There are fewer "hot ticket" rides at Disneyland, but it's still my preferred park/resort. Of course that doesn't mean we don't hop over to WDW once in a while. I just really prefer the Disneyland parks. But hey... that's me.
