You're me feel so confident starting lisianthus for the first time. I've learned much from you. And may i say what a cutie pie you are. Flower farming has changed my life. I gave up my 30 year landscape business to do this and you are
My inspiration to make the change

Love the Syracuse sweatshirt, my dad went there in the 40's, I went to nursing school there in the 80"s, and my daughter went there 20"s. Love your singing....

Lissies are for sure the slowest flowers to grow! I've sown them in February last year. Just a few for fun. They grew steady but slow. I had flowers in July and decided to try harvesting seeds from them. Two weeks ago, the seeds still weren't ripe. So I cut the stems, entered them into my home and dried the pods. I just harvested the seeds! They look well, but They are the tiniest of seeds and there were thousands of them in each pod 🤩. I'm going to sow them this week, hope they are fertile. If not: it was a fun experiment 😆

I don't know which I enjoy more, the camaraderie of a fellow farmer and watching you do your thing, or all the animals which just makes it so "normal" for me especially the chickens as I have done the chicken ninja moves like you way more than I want to admit. If my neighbors ever made videos

I didn't think it would happen... I saw the first microscopic hint of green I my Lisianthus tray that I planted on Christmas Eve! Wow!

Just found your channel and I’ve got to say you are one funny lady and make even the tedious tasks enjoyable. I’m in the UK and have just found Lisianthus so I’m trying them for the first time. I’ll be following you for my “How to Grow” guide so fingers crossed they germinate. I always struggle with watering but will follow your lead on spraying. Thank you for a great video.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!! Aw, your planting on the coldest day we have experienced.wheee I love... And I needed to see this today!! I was planning my garden earlier and it was a struggle and wanted to cry. In August '21 my garden and my house were completely flooded... Last Spring my husband and I out so much work into the garden and finances building beds, amending the soil.. it was A LOT. And this year to have to do it all AGAIN. I am pushing forward tho, because I have a dream. This year I am focusing on flowers in hopes to make to some extra cash out of something I LOVE.

zone 7..I started mine in Oct/Nov in jugs and left them alone and they're doing wonderfully. The ones I started indoors got moldy because my soil was too wet and the room was too warm. I know jugs aren't feasible for someone growing on a large scale like you are, but for home gardeners, try the winter sowing method in jugs.

I started my first ever batch of Lissies on January first. Will be excited to follow along and see how mine compare. I watched several of your Lissie videos before I actually sat down to sow them. I’ve got three varieties, one of which is a Roseanne green. Thanks for the wonderful videos!!!

I use a chopstick instead of a toothpick, it makes my hand feel better to grab something a little thicker/longer. You can whittle it down on the end if it's too big.

Love the content, can't wait to see you start all your seeds again this year!

Hi Nicole, I'm so glad you posted this video. I just sowed my Lizzies yesterday. Same thing - only limited it to 6 varieties. I've never grown them before and I'm super excited!! Can't wait to see how yours do.
