You asked what you could do with eggplants. Cut into 1 to 1 1/4 inch chunks. Add 3 tablespoons of buttermilk and stir. Add 1/2 cup of cornmeal and 2 tablespoons self-raising flour. Stir. Breading should be dry on eggplant chunks. Deep fry and enjoy. Love your videos.

You should try out "official" grow lights on a couple of your shelves because it can potentially be a game changer that can take you to the next level! And also (2) you can document findings via content (3) share knowledge yo other gardeners and (4) its tax deductible 😊!

Hi Jerra! You didn't mention anything about hardening off seedlings. Do you have any recommendations for that??

Love your video, Thanks so much useful info. I'm also in SWFL zone 10a, I think I saw you were in that zone in one of your videos. I have two questions. I have a covered screened-in deck but even in the shade, the temp has already reached 100 degrees this year. So I'm guessing that it would still be too hot to start seeds? Also, I have house plants and terrariums and have had issues with fungal gnats so would my best bet be to just water with mosquito bit regularly to prevent them?

Hello Jerra! I am living the same zone as you. I planted my ground cherry on April 20 and they are not growing, and the white flys are eating them too. Is this plant supposed to be a winter crop? When is the best time to sow the seeds? When you have a chance, please let me know. Thank you so much!

I feel my seeds grow a healthier plant

I planted a couple of Seminole pumpkin seeds last year and now my back yard is full of those vines. I'm not complaining about the vines but so many of the pumpkins fall off the vines before they can get a chance to grow. If they make it past a certain size, bigger than a baseball then they will stay on, but most of them fall off while they are very small. The vines are super healthy though. I don't understand what the problem is.

How often do you recommend fertilizing new seedlings?

When you talk about fall crop starting like broccoli, and you say you grow them inside. Do you mean inside your house or in your screened porch? I have mine in my screened porch too but want to try growing fall crops from seeds this year.

Jerra, what are your thoughts on thiram coated seeds? I was surprised to open my packet of korean radish seeds yesterday and they were coated in this shiny bright blue substance? I read that it is for pest and disease control but the warning label was scary in terms of washing hands right after handling, toxic to consume. I don’t feel comfortable planting these seeds. Thoughts?
