Back in the 60 tys I used to gallop horses, that's one thing I could have never done, many times I had try it, and my feet always hit the styffle, watching 👀 from NYC

I offer tell people when you ride a horse you really do have to be an athlete. ( not weekend riding ) if that is your job you have that kind of agility. I have seen cowboys and English riders that could mount like that. They have my up most respect ❤

I use to do that too till I got into my late 30s but life goes on !! That horse didn't want to do what the rider wanted!!!

No abuse just a persistence that the horse accepted . A true partnership of equality. The horse wad probably worried, excited and the rider just calmed the situation without using the reins or legs to disciple. What great horsemanship! ❤
