When you have a family of 5+ with small children where you need to access the 3rd row to buckle them these are GREAT!

Was hoping to remove easily but looks like I’ll just live with them. Thanks for video. Magic seats are definitely not a good idea.

Useless you say. You probably have a 3rd row vehicle for a family of 4.

What tool did you use to unscrew the big bolt that stops the rail from coming out?

So If I need to remove the base for the one on the drivers side, I must remove the trim, then the stops so it will slide off the end, removing any future hopes of warranty work there, fantastic!

Just a heads up those are bolts not screws.

I want to take out the sliders for the 2nd row seat. What tool... what size did you have to use after you removed the little plastic plug.? 4:55 thank you

I want to take out the 3rd row seats in my 2021 odyssey. I saw a video once showing how to do it but can't find it now. Did you make a video showing removal of 3rd row seats? Thank you

How do you remove the third row seat mount? I see the three three screws, but it doesn't easily pull away. Are there additional screws that I am not seeing?

To remove the sliding trays can you just remove the two end caps and those retaining screws you took out at around 6:30 into the video? I don't see why you have to take out the 3 large bolts you explain in 2:08 (which I think you hint on.) How hard is it to remove the two end caps?

Magic seats are KILLING me right now. Milk spilled in our '19 and I need to get the middle plastic piece out in order to clean it properly. But no. These have made my life hell

I have a 2019 Odyssey EX-L and I really like the sliding seats side to side. I would disagree with you on the design, I think it is really innovative, and way better than Toyotas (I think you despise that one too) front to back sliding, who needs to recliner, right? It makes for more versatile entry to the back and access to grab what you need from the back, without folding down the seats. I do agree it is heavy and clumsy to remove the seats, and I do not like that floor is not flat. Hauling plywood or sheetrock in this car is not as good as previous generation (2009) that I had, but it is also because of the center console, you can’t fit more than few, or else you wont be able to close the trunk’s rear hatch. One option I really like in Chryslers/Dodge vans is the Stow’N’Go seats, but I’d not want to compromise Honda comfortable seats, for something as flimsy and uncomfortable Stow’N’Go seats (great idea/horrible design). I have my van for over three years, and have no complains about the sliding system or its operation. I’d probably use a “straw” attached to a vacuum, and a compresor to clean if it is necessary, and not disassemble all floor, unless really necessary. And as far as assembly plant/quality control, you’re probably right, as my vans body panels are misaligned, and there a lot room for improvement. Thanks for the video and good luck on your quest.

I have a 2018 odyssey....I got someone to get to this point, but couldn't figure out rest....can you help please? I'm an older lady and can't do it myself, but would be willing to drive where you live and pay you to take off those last two top pieces. I don't care about the rails in the floor.

Bet most Honda owners including myself absolutely hate this crappy new sliding affair. Definitely useless and unnecessarily complicated. Honda garbage, just like when Honda had the run flat tire fiasco.
