The world's biggest free trade deal has been signed.
15 countries, including China and Japan, are now part of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.
The bloc will cover nearly a third of the world's population and economic activity.

India already has free trade agreement with ASEAN, japan and south korea, so joining RCEP could attract more dumping of goods from china which is detrimental for local industries. As india already has huge trade deficit with china, this agreement could negatively impact us. Moreover india also has option of joining RCEP in future.
