Here is the link to the IDEAL Datacom product page.

The 35-088 5 ¼ inch Electrician’s Scissors or snips from IDEAL are used for cutting and stripping smaller gauge copper wires and trimming conductors in telephone and data applications. Installers have used them for years to help install electrical, data and telephone wiring.
The snips are chrome over nickel plated to resist corrosion and have two stripping notches on one of the blades to strip 19 through 23 gauge wires for telecommunications applications. The serrated blade edge on one edge of the tool grips wire securely when cutting a cable to length.
Ridges on outer blade edges are used for scraping and filing oxidation from copper conductors. The outer edge can also be used to help straighten conductors on data cable when installing modular plugs.
Technicians typically hold them with the ring finger in one of the hoops and the other hoop in the palm of the hand. This allows them to apply extra force with the palm when cutting larger diameter cables and allows the technician to tuck the snip away in their palm leaving their fingers free when working with the conductors.
To open a snips use the thumb of the hand to grip the small area between the tines. The thumb opens them and the palm will close the snip. They fit comfortably in the palm of the technician’s hand and easily cut and strip a wide variety of cables on the jobsite.
