ABOUT DREAMSURA:

ABOUT HEARTFLUX:
Across the whole album I was fixated on the idea of juxtaposing two different aesthetics through the use of a compound/nested ternary form. If you pay close attention, a lot of the songs on Dreamsura are in this form: ABA CDC ABA (or something similar). This track I wanted to make a heavy dream&bass work with an almost romantic piano concerto section in the middle. I wanted it to feel very stereotypical early Romantic harmony but wrapped in the textures of modern electronic music.

It's also the only piece with "city" sounds. Each piece on this album has it's own ambient background texture. This is the only one that is urban while the rest fluctuate from rain and objects burning.

This piece in particular would have been a lot better if I played all the piano live but 5 years ago, I could barely play! Lol.

Don`t know if it is only, cause of the picture in the clip., but this music sounds really like a painting to me.
I Imagine a painter doin an artwork, using big brushes immersed in different colours of sound.
