The aeropress pooping out the puck after you've made your coffee is the best part about it

I love James Hoffmann's recipe (18g coffee, 90g water, 90sec brew time) to make something like a latte. While its not espresso, it is rly strong coffee with little water – which makes a fantastic coffee-milk-drink on a budget.

The aeropress is my go to coffee gadget for my daily caffeine fix.

I just use a funnel and coffee filters over a mason jar to make my coffee.

Canning funnels are made to fit right on mason jars perfectly while still letting a little bit of air out for flow. I think buying the funnel cost just under $5.

It's literally just pour over coffee, and pour over is the method most commonly used by coffee machines

I tried the 2 coffee filter technique against one filter. There was no difference in my americanos I made with the aeropress shots. I can only assume it’s unnecessary for a latte.

You don't need insanley expensive equipment indeed.
Good whole coffee + Good grinder = coffee better than 99% of the coffee out there.
Tip: You can make most hand grinders out there electric by attatching the handle pin to a hammer drill (but don't go too fast).

Aeropress is cool but is fundamentally different than espresso

Aero press is one of the greatest coffee inventions.

if you steep espresso ground coffee for 2 minutes you'll end up with it bitter and over-extracted. Try a 10 second stir and press. Also 2 paper filters aren't needed. Pro tip -- rinse your filter and reuse until it breaks. No need to toss it.

Since I have my aeropress I use it literally everday, with a hand grinder and a milk frother you can make impressively good tasting lattes, cortados or caps

Imma get my new coffee later this year, imma make a huge upgrade from a few hundred dollar one to breville barista express. I love your videos too, coffee is also my hobby even I don't have a great machine right now I still make coffee with live and hard work! I just love to make and drink it!

I use Laird creamer with it! Just stir and it does

I make a latte very similar to this one. First I take my whole beans, put them in a cup, pour hot water over them, shake my milk bottle, then add milk. It doesn't taste the same (or even like coffee) and has a particularly coarse texture, and doesn't have any crema, but I feel like I, too, can call it a latte.

Have been using an Aero Press daily for years to make an iced mocha, delicious and easy. BUT—I’m SO over the strain of compressing it. I’m finally looking for a real espresso machine 😉🇮🇹

I would actually recommend following the proper hoffmann recipe. 18g-75g of water and mantaining that ratio. I usually go for 30g-125g of water to mane a big flat white. And aim for 1:1, 2 water
You need to stir vigorously. And the recipe improves with metal filtering significantly (texture wise especially)

I use instant coffee with milk frother to get that creme goodness.

It's easy and cheap :P
