Stam Fine Reviews looks at the 1982 series Voyagers! starring Jon-Erik Hexum and Meeno Peluce. This series followed the adventures of a time-agent Phineas Bogg, and his accidental 11 year-old sidekick, Jeffrey.
Voyagers are people who keep history from going wrong. Of course, things go wrong all the time.
I once tried to fix history by trying to bet on sporting events except that I forgot to first travel forward in time to get the results.

I watched every episode of this show as a child. I had dreams and even a few nightmares as a child about this show. Which means I loved it.

I used to love this show. What a shame Jon-Erik Hexum died the way he did.

I remembered rushing home after school just to watch this series. That was in 1984. Hexum was terrific.

In my head cannon, Phineas Bogg is Jeffrey Jones all grown up, and him taking his younger self on adventures is him training himself into becoming a Voyager

I have to admit that I learned more about history from this show than I ever did in school.

I watched this when it first aired. I loved this show so much I own an all brass replica of the Omni and the complete series on DVD. Hexum was awesome and Meeno was really good. It's a shame we never got more but I'm glad we got it at all.

Voyagers, the A-Team, Fame and Knight Rider were my four favorite shows that year.

This show made no sense at all. But I loved it... and still do.

I watched it when I was in elementary school, Pacific Grove, California. We didn't have cable, but back in early 80s California there were so many different stations and choices. We even got Telemundo on a UHF channel.

Looking back, I also realized the number of actors from Voyagers who also appeared in the sci fic tv show "V"

Loved this show as a kid, found it on dvd, thought it would not hold up, it did. Great show for all ages, great acting, great chemistry between the two leads, if you can find it on dvd, grab it, RIP Jon-Eric Hexum

I'm late to the party, but I really enjoyed your Voyagers! Vlog. It was also shared a while back on my FB Group. It's honest and funny. The chemistry of the leads truly carried this show (I love the Starsky and Hutch reference!) The show had high ambitions, but a lot of network interference, among other things, got in the way too, slashing the budget as well and taking away that breakneck pace of traveling through history. The stories also had to be altered because Voyagers! was pummeled over the so-called "violent content." I can't even get started on that one. Thanks for bringing more attention to the show, I've been involved in the fandom for nearly 20 years, and it's great to see its popularity grow since the DVDs were released in 2009. Eventually, I will get my blog back up online, but my main website is still up.

I loved this show as a kid, watching it when it first aired. I would have loved for there to have been a second season delving deeper into the Voyager lore. Jon-Erik Hexum was one of my first adolescent crushes and I was completely devastated to hear about his passing. He was incredibly handsome, and by all accounts, an extremely nice person as well. It's too bad that he didn't get to have the long career that he was on track to have.
