Every Pixar Movie Easter Egg That Teased A Future Film
Показать описание
Disney and Pixar are known for hidden clues in movies!
Pixar is chalk full of great little Easter Eggs. Some of them appear in every movie without fail, such as Andy’s ball and the Pizza Planet truck. But there is a neat thing Pixar has going with all of its movies and that’s including a reference to an upcoming feature in the form of an Easter Egg in the latest release. This fun design was first used in Toy Story 2, which included an extremely sly and hard to catch reference to Monsters Inc. From there, the flood gates opened. Each movie, with the exception of the first Cars movie, had something about a future film in it.
In short, Monsters Inc included multiple references to Finding Nemo. From there, we saw a Mr. Incredible comic in the dentist’s office in Nemo. The Incredibles had a reference to Cars, but that movie included no such Easter Egg to a future film. So jumping ahead, Ratatouille picked up the baton and teased Wall-E, which in turn gave us a tease for Up. Up’s reference to Toy Story 3 is perhaps the most obvious reference on this list. There are two Cars 2 references in Toy Story 3, and Cars 2 actually includes a reference to Brave.
Brave is the movie that links the shared universe theory quite a bit and it’s with this reference to Monsters University that solidifies it. From there, it’s back to back references to The Good Dinosaur, thanks to a change in release dates with Inside Out. The Good Dinosaur had a difficult to spot reference to Hank, the Octopus (well, Septapus) from Finding Dory.
Dory brought it back to Cars 3, which had two nods to Coco! In the Land of the Dead, we actually saw something...Incredible. Which leads us to Jack Jack and a nod to Duke Caboom from Toy Story 4. Woody’s final adventure includes a difficult to spot nod to Onwards. And despite not even being released yet, fans have spotted the reference to Soul in Onwards already.
