The Evolution of Chuck E Cheese! The Chuck E Cheese restaurants (formerly Pizza Time Theatre) offer entertainment for the whole family through arcade games, pizza, animatronics and live characters. Next to the animatronics, meeting Chuck E Cheese himself has become a staple of the restaurant. Since the first Chuck E Cheese opened in 1977 the Chuck E. character has seen quite the change in his appearance; through the days of Atari, Pizza Time Theatre going bankrupt and being bought by Showbiz Pizza Place, and the complete Chuck E Cheese character redesign of 2012; there's a lot of character history in the restaurants. So this video will outline the Chuck E Cheese restaurant history and take a look at the evolution of the Chuck E Cheese Character!

Avenger Chuck was my ENTIRE childhood!!! I miss going to Chuck E Cheese as a kid, such fun times! The pizza may be awful and the animatronics may be running down, but it was so magical as a kid!

No doubt, Avenger Chuck is the most iconic and I miss him. That being said, I like the current look for Chuck. He looks cuter and even more friendly now. He may look very different now, but I still like him.

I grew up with Avenger Chuck, and I remember when they changed to the current Rock form. I was like "well they went downhill fast!" hahahah

As a 2000s kid, I remember the avenger era Chuck inside the store but the picture of him on the outside was still cool chuck from the 90s. They just recently updated him to the newest version.
