It's taken me a lot of courage to tell my story. I almost didn't apply for Stanford because I was so sure I would never have a chance of getting in! Looking back, Stanford were the best years of my life.

This is my letter to all of you out there who struggle with self-doubt! It's normal to have feelings of inadequacy, but you don't want to let them get in the way of applying for opportunities that you think are out of your reach.

Great topic. I have both male and female friends in senior roles. However I agree it happens to more women then men (or maybe the men who I speak to don't admit it as much or have learnt to overcome it). Why do you think it happens particularly to high performing women?
