The amount of camera movement in this scene is very impressive since blending CGI and traditional animation is one of ufotable's specialties. It's an animation method called "Layering" I believe. They use this a lot in the majority of their most recent projects. It gives the scene a feeling like objects are moving across an open area instead of still shots for the background with only the characters moving. Camera movement options open up and scenes have more options for showing the movement of the character models and how they interact with a dynamically shifting background. Accomplishing this with the lighting and color shade shifting is also extremely difficult to pull off, but used to great effect in these fight scenes.
