HD Remaster - ZERO VS OMEGA DECISIVE BATTLE (60fps)

It's finally the birthday of the Messiah!!! O m e g a.... I mean Jesus!!! :D Had this done for quite a long time but I decided not post it yet so I can make some updates if ever. I think Christmas would be a nice time to post. :)

Alternate title is "Faded Memories". Fan re-imagining of Zero vs Omega.

This animation is actually for "hardcore" Zero and X series fans so it's actually cool the original(2011) got a LOT of views. :D I don't think there are many hardcore MMZ and MMX fans.

Unlike the previous remaster which is technically a remake. This one is an actual remaster. I still have the old file. The plan was just to remaster this not X vs Zero Decisive Battle 2, but just a few days of fiddling the original file, I realize remaking X vs Zero Decisive Battle 2 would be easy compared to this. O_o This one is tough and tedious.

Actually, it would be amazing if I could pull out more decisive battles, if not it's still great I was able to create my personal fave battle. X vs Zero and Zero vs Omega.

Merry Christmas! It's cool I still get to post something after so :)

Back before I thought of making a patreon or monetize youtube so I can have financial support to work and focus months on this animation hobby. However, it would be complicated and risky, I didn't pursue that. Still I would like to create more videos but as much as possible I'm just casual with what I do here. I prefer to work on something that won't take too long. Remastering this is going to be TOUGH but since HD Remaster X vs Zero Decisive Battle 2 turned out great, I think it will be worth the effort. :)

Adding the animation of Ciel talking to Zero before the final portion of the fight was just absolutely genius and elevated the video even more

Fun fact:
In Megaman X1, in the intro stage, after X says he isn't strong enough, Zero reassures him by saying "I know you can do it."

This is reflected in X's final words to Zero at Z3 and X tells him "Zero, you can do it"

4:45 I noticed how much shockwaves the water has each time Zero lands a hit on Omega. Such a cool detail that emphasize how much force and motivation Zero has behind his saber swings. So cool!

I love how, when Zero retakes the fight after the Ciel flashback, all those dark flashes of his past crumble and fall off the screen and are replaced by all the people dear to him. Even his long-gone comrades from the X series. It's as if to say, "none of that matters anymore, what matters is THIS". It makes me tear up every time. He finally found the reason he's fighting for.

3:30: That entire sequence where Omega decides to stop messing around. Pressing forward, tanking hits, splitting off X, then slamming Zero was peak in the original.

The enhanced visuals and fluidity of animation put it over the top.

Imagine being depressed for so many years and living to see both the Original and Remaster. I saw the original way before depression, I then started watching the original every night I was down and depressed in my early 20's. Late 20's the worst things happen to me and I get to see this when I need to. Got me in tears.

I don't like my old animation(The Legendary Reploid) very much so I remade it for this. T_T I remade only the conversation with Ciel and Zero though. I'm happy with how it turned out hopefully, I would still like it after years. Originally on the 2011 version, the guardians won't be present and it will be a handdrawn animation 4:04, however I can't draw that time. I still kept the guardians on this remaster however.

Edit: Holy shit, the added corrupted subtitles of Zero's speech and the new animated parts are so awesome, in particular the scene where Ciel tells Zero he is already the real one in her eyes showing him with his original body. CHILLS
