We're tempted to take the doctrine of the Trinity for granted. But there is scarcely any belief unaffected when we get the Trinity wrong.

I will never be filled with the fullness of God without the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
The Bible clearly gives emphasis to the nature of these Persons in the Godhead.
Take away one of them and I will never be complete the way i am right now.
PRAISE THE GODHEAD THREE IN ONE.

Amen. Only the Triune LORD God of Scripture is Love. Hallelujah. Praise the LORD God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The point of the Trinity is not to question the single essence of God, but rather to comprehend the energies of God, or how a single God, who's outside the created world, manifests himself in the created world, so the Hypostasis are the eternal manifestations of God, or more precisely the Spirit of God/Parakletos stands for God's relation with anything in the created world, the Word of God/Logos stands for God's actions in the created world, while the Pater is not exactly a manifestation, but rather the source of both Hypostasis, outside the created world.

"Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together."

- Colossians 1:15-17

If God is a Trinity, then call them "They". Quit calling God "Him" if you think they are a Trinity. Calling a Triune God "Him" is just as bad as, worse, than the sexual and gender pronoun confusion.

Here are Bible verses showing there are two: the Father, and Jesus:
■ "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." (John 14:23) (The Father + Jesus = 2 . . . with no mention of the holy spirit as a third person.)

■ "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." (John 1:1-3) (The Father + Jesus = 2 . . . with no mention of the holy spirit as a third person.)

■ "I and my Father are one." (John 10:30) (The Father + Jesus = 2 . . . with no mention of the holy spirit as a third person.)

■ "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." (1 Cor 8:6) (The Father + Jesus = 2 . . . with no mention of the holy spirit as a third person.)

■ "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." (John 17:5) (The Father + Jesus = 2 . . . with no mention of the holy spirit as a third person.)

Only the Father and Jesus are mentioned in the opening greetings of the epistles:
■ “To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ”
(Paul, in Romans 1:7)
■ “Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.”
(Paul, in 1 Corinthians 1:3)
■ “Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.”
(John, in 2 John 1:3)
■ "Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ" (2 Corinthians 1:2)
■ "Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ" (Galatians 1:3)
■ "Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 1:2)
■ "Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:2)
■ "To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." (Colossians 1:2)
■ "Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thessalonians 1:1)
■ "Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ" (2 Thessalonians 1:2)
■ "Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord." (1 Timothy 1:2)
■ "To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord" (2 Timothy 1:2)
■ "To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour" (Titus 1:4)
■ "Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ" (Philemon 1:3)
■ "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord" (2 Peter 1:2)

The only persons mentioned were the Father, and Jesus. Can we be honest enough to admit there is nothing to suggest a Trinity - three persons - in these greetings?

There are many similar statements, mentioning only the Father and Jesus. Here are a few of them:
■ “Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
(Ephesians 6:23)
■ “Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.”
(1 Thessalonians 3:11)
■ “Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.”
(2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17)
■ “Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.”
(1 John 2:24)
■ “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.”
(1 John 1:3)
■ “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his”
(Romans 8:9)

The true church must teach that God and Jesus are separate individuals - Heb. 1:3, Acts 7:55-56, John 17:11 & 20:17

The true church must teach that God and Jesus have bodies of flesh and bone - Luke 24:36-51, Acts 1:9-11

Fraudulent Trinitarian doctrine intentionally inserted into Bible (1 John 5:7-8).  These two verses are missing from original Greek and Hebrew texts, nor are they found in the original 1611 printing of King James Bible.  Many newer Bibles are now being  printed without them.  Think about the impact this single, intentional, and very critical corruption of doctrine has had on the entire Christian world for centuries.

You guys are teaching a false doctrine, making up explanations that are not Scriptural. Sadly, trinitarians lack spiritual understanding of God’s word. Repent, seek the Father, the only true God for truth and wisdom of His word.

“A unipersonal God wouldn’t be loving until that God created other beings” on this view “power comes before love”. We need to differentiate between attributes and actions. Was God powerful (attribute) before he created (action)? Was God forgiving (attribute) before he forgave(action)? Could God love that which was not yet created? You have to be very confident/bold to say “you couldn’t say God is love except for a triune God” even there is only small chance God is unipersonal and said this. I would be careful to tell God what he can’t say to be coherent. All that said I’m glad people are having open conversations about this topic.

It looks like this decade-old video is still pulling in comments from the servants of the Enemy, relentlessly trying to undermine the faith.

The doctrine of the Trinity comes from the Gospel (Mk. 12:29, Mt. 22:37, Mt. 28:19).

All my own personal opinions and ideas and imaginations of the Godhead are utterly vain and meaningless and pompous pharisaical yeast, if not totally blasphemous. God describes Himself. He needs no man to teach you who He is. He Himself teaches you of Himself. You have no need of any man to teach you, for the Spirit Himself teaches you of all things. Ask God in Jesus Christ by His Spirit to explain Himself to you. He is the Living God, not a dead mute idol.

On a completely different non-trinity topic, I couldn't help but laugh at the way this video is edited. Watch how the editor is mostly interested in what John Piper is doing. You get these unsettling long footages of Piper's face while He watches and listens to the others, with clogs and wheels turning. The editor is like, "I wonder what John Piper is thinking about what this other guy is saying..."

My acceptance of Christianity was less about the Cross and more about the Triune God. I grew up in a Christian home, so “Christ died for you” became like the wallpaper. Once I understood what the Church meant by praying “In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” and not the “names”, once I studied the three relations within the Godhead, the less non-trinitarian theology made sense, whether it was with the Liberal Protestant tradition, the Unitarians, Islam, or theism/deism. When one plunges into the biblical theology and how the early Church made use of philosophy to speak about God and dialectic to defend the biblical witness, faith in the Risen Lord flooded by heart and life.

Why does Christianity push Catholic dogma? We are required and commanded to believe that YAHUAH sent his Son who came in the flesh and that is that. He is not YAHUAH Eloheem and never ever said he was. Instead he confirmed he is the Son. Joh 20:17...I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my Eloheem and your Eloheem. ANYTHING THAT PREACHES YAHUSHUA DID NOT COME IN THE FLESH IS A DECEIVER, THE ANTI-MASHIACH ie the one who says Yahushua was Spirit rather than flesh FULLY ANOINTED BY THE PURE SPIRIT OF YAHUAH!!!! This invention of trinity and Jesus is God heresy is sent to distract from the TEACHING OF THE SON OF ELOHEEM which is to OBEY TORAH which the same pagan institution called the Harlot Church of Babylon hates. Mat 5:17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law [TORAH] or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to FULLY PREACH (Greek: pleroo) them. Mat 5:18  For truly, I say to you, until shamayim (pw heaven) and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law [TORAH]until all is accomplished. Mat 5:19  Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of shamayim (pw heaven), but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of shamayim. Mat 5:20  For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of shamayim (pw heaven).

If ONLY a three person God is love, then why does the Bible tells us the Father is love? The one who does not love does not know God, for GOD is love. By this the love of God was manifested in us, that GOD has sent HIS only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 1 John 4:8-9. That would be the Father there, one person who is love. Saying that only the Triune God is love is a lie which contradicts Scripture.

The trinity is just a CONVENTIONAL doctrine based on some statements in the gospels. The bishops of Nicaea had to decide whether Jesus was God or just his Son. Jesus said "he who has seen me has seen the Father" "I am in the Father and the Father in me" and claimed to be the "King of heaven". The bishops thus decided that "Jesus must be as divine as the Father". But Jesus further said that a blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is more serious that blasphemy against Himself. The bishops thought "no doubt, the Holy Spirit must also be a divine person". You thus get three "Gods". Since three "Gods" are not allowed because it would mean having polytheism, the bishops said "they appear to be three but actually they are ONE, we call it "mystery of the faith", for the common herd is more than enough". This is how that bogus theory was issued by the councils. The error in all that is the bishops didn't realize that the "Spirit of God" (the Holy Spirit) simply is "God who is a spirit" (Jn.4:24) i.e. once again a manifestation of the same God, not a third divine person. Indeed you can see in the gospels that no third divine person exists with Father and Son: the Holy Spirit is again the Father.
