RANDOM + PORTAL = 🤯 Sound Design sesh in Ableton Live

Testing my rack that I built based on Random VST where I combined it with the Portal VST, the results are out of this world!

Hey, lovely people! There seems to be an issue with the Rack when you try to load it, that's probably because of the versions of Ableton each of us uses, I currently have 11.3.10.

very cool chain, i have random and portal so i will try this! also how did you record so that you have these take lanes and are able to choose which parts you want like at 10:56 in the video? how do you do that? when i record long things like this it just stays in the same track and becomes this really long sample, this seems much more efficient

It does not work for me, it should say I am missing the plugins so that I can replace them and use the rack but it doesn't. I will get the plugins later on and try again. Also you can add a limiter on the master to avoid volume clipping.

It's funny how popular this kind of content has gotten in production tutorials across youtube and instagram - this kind of stuff can sometimes result in cool sounds you would have never achieved intentionally, but it's pretty sad how so many producers resort to doing this simply to make the grossest, wildest sounds without any intention or skillset. It's not really art.
