Forensic Accounting

In this course, students will examine the basic concepts of forensic accounting, criminology and forensic auditor ethics. They will contrast the different types of fraud and financial crimes, cybercrimes and what is the legal framework to counteract them. Additionally, they will investigate fraud schemes and methods used to commit fraud and apply investigation strategies for the collection, assessment, and recovery of embezzled funds.
