All around classy video, explanation, not showing the actual injury, and the comments. Really refreshing. Still brutal as a lifelong Lions/UoM fan, Hutch is such a massive part of the team AND the community. He embraced this city and plays his heart out every game. I really thought he’d win DPOY this year. I just hope he gets back to 100% for next season, and we see him on the sideline in the next x weeks cheering on his teammates. I despise seeing this for any player, regardless of whether it’s a rival team or not. Always rooting especially for the young guys. Super unfortunate. Heal up! Thanks Doc.

Thank you also for, as always, giving prompt, understandable explanations of the mechanism of injury and what happens next for treatment, recovery, etc. Football is a difficult physical game, and it’s so scary when a strong young player falls and is obviously in tremendous pain. Based on his likely prognosis, I’m hopeful for the player’s full recovery! I’m sure fans, players, and many more will be pulling for him and sending good wishes. In Muay Thai fighting, that's called a leg/kick check. Basically, you block the kick by lifting your shin into the momentum of the opponent's kick.
