How is it possible that this song - that I just discovered today - is able to speak about the most intimate details of me and wife? I'm not crying you're crying.

Wild Child is one of those bands that I can always come back to and appreciate. The acoustics are wonderful and relaxing, the lyrics are refreshing, and the vocals really complement each other. It's always a blast to hear someone sing with genuine glee, even if the songs center around heartbreak.

This song is a prime example of what I like about Wild Child. A chilling song played in an almost ironically happy tone with good sound and beautiful scenery. The foam in the wind adds a lot to the atmosphere. The smalltalk at the end was adorable, it made the song feel even more real.

Really looking forward to the new album, you guys are a blast!

For me this song represents the end of an era. From spring of 2016 until summer of 2017, in my experience, things were bright, things were high velocity. The winter of 2017 was a slowing down of everything, and the feel of this recording represents that perfectly. Maybe it was just around where I am; but I swear that videos filmed from March of 2016 until the season before this video was filmed were bright and vibrant. This video represents how things were, and things to come, at that point in time. Now, watching it again, I remember feeling as if all of that was temporary. As if this video was evidence that everyone was in that dark otherworldly place, but we could still sing songs with honest lyrics, and everything would be good again. I am, and I think we are, still waiting for everything to get better again.
