There’s a Spanish saying that summarizes exactly what Ben feels about the whistling story: “No creo en brujas pero que las hay, las hay”. It means something like “I don’t believe in witches, but they do exist”. You can be skeptical about something and still be scared about the possibility that that thing exists. I’m just like him 😂

So THAT’S how Backstreet Boys had that comeback in 2019. Cristine summoned them

I think what's scarier than ghosts is the possibility that there was some random person whisteling in Ben's house. Like an intruder. I find humans to be scarier than the idea of phantoms.

I like the sentence "I'm intelligent enough to know that I don't know everything."

You can totally tell that Ben is the type of person who finds something he likes (like horror films) and learns about them, their history, and details in depth and gets super super into them!

this happened to me. My dad and I had always had a REALLY strong connection but dad had a brain tumor and was slowly passing. He finally passed in April of 2010. He had passed away a few months prior to these instances. He had always worried about me spending money. I went out with some girlfriends for ones birthday to the casino and played some slots. it was LATE (LIKE 3 AM) but I actually won some money (around $500~) ... I debated on staying and playing some more, but as i reached into my bag to get a $100 bill out, i felt someone PULL MY HAIR! On the top of my head, just like my dad used to when i was being naughty... i whipped my head around to see who had decided to pull my hair at 3am, and being so late/early the casino was practically empty... there was no one even near me... like 20 feet away was the closest person... i actually spoke out loud and said "okay dad... i get it... im going home..." there was that one.... there was also another experience where i have a car that connects bluetooth to my phone. it popped on the radio that "Dad's Cell" was calling.... my phone wasn't ringing, dads phone had been on his nightstand, untouched, right where he left it, but the message came through anyway. For these instances alone, i

My mom always told me she didnt like scary movies/horror movies not because they feel real but because it came from someone's head and that stuck with me.

I moved into an old home about 3 years back with my bf at the time. Didn’t have any sort of spooky expectations. It was a nice place and i was just looking forward to moving in. Upon initial walkthrough I didn’t have any sort of bad vibes or feelings until we moved in. When i was home alone i had to have all the lights on because i just had really anxious feelings. Like i was being watched. One night i was home alone and i was watching tv and out of the corner of my eye i saw a dark shadow move across the kitchen doorway. It was tall and large and looked kind of hunched over. My cat went to go check it out immediately. I was spooked beyond belief. And turned more lights on in the house. In the following days i told a friend about my experience and she came over and did a cleanse with me. She told me that i did in fact have a ghost. He wasn’t mean, just curious. The cleanse made me feel better and the ghost (who i named George) stayed down in the basement after that. He definitely tried to test his boundaries cause my cats would stare at him all the time but eventually he stayed in the basement. I later learned the house used to be a bakery from the 1880s. And that there had been a bakery fire. One day I had my sister and her bf over helping me move some boxes down to the basement and when her bf came up after taking some downstairs he told me that someone downstairs had whispered in his ear, asking him if he wanted white or wheat bread.

Is anyone else mesmerized by the candlelight reflecting off Cristine’s cat ears? 😅

I used to work in a pub/restaurant which was an extremely old building. Historians had dated it back to around the 1200s and initially it was built to keep people with leprosy separate from others in the area.

It was also a hotel/bed and breakfast type place but one room in particular was HORRID. Guests would complain about how cold it was in there even in the summer and some complained of doors slamming and their possessions being moved.

I have to mention this isnt a massive ghost hunting spot and they don't advertise it as that either, so people who visited had no idea of its history and did not expect these things to happen.

I only went in this room once to check for some lost property a guest had called about and as soon as I was in there I had to turn around and leave immediately. It was freezing cold and I suddenly felt like a large group of people were watching me. The room felt damp and musty even though the building had been renovated countless times over the years.

Thats my little spooky story that happened in 2010

When I was a bit younger, I used to adore horror and everything scary. That all changed when I checked out a book from my local library that I REALLY should not have been allowed to check out. It's called Welcome To The Dark House by Laurie Faria Stolarz. It's about people who get the chance to go to this famous horror director's house, but one of their characters has come to life and is playing games with the visitor's lives. The main character's parents were also murdered right in front of her by a serial killer, so that added a lot of horror to the story. There's a second book called Return To The Dark House, but the first one was scarier. That book left me with scars. Before I read it, I had no trouble being home alone or even just being alone. But now I hate being home alone, or even just being on one floor of my house alone. TL;DR A book really scared me and now I have scars, the end.
