My internet download speed is 100+mb but in fdm it's only kb but when I tried this it went up to 2mb, it doesn't sound much but for me it's a major improvement thank you so much

I have an issue with fdm where the download speed just slows down at the final 100-900mb of a download. My internet surfing speed is always slow whenever I'm downloading (which is understandable) but it speeds up sometimes and when that happens my downloading speed will now be the slow one. Any fix?
