So the accurate name those insects are called pill bugs, interesting, as a child I called the rollie pollies as did many of the kids I grew up with lol insightful to ay the least... Thanks!

This is what i was thinking of doing. I've always noticed them just when they're got to many was when they started eating my plants.

they aren’t eating your plants actually, they eat the residue left from the slug which are eating your plant. they are also not insect but crustaceans

My back yard is infested with these, beetles and ants but i cant bring myself to end them all theyre just little animals wanting to live lives like us
