Seatbelt escape. White belt curriculum. Kama Jiu Jitsu. I’ve taken 11 privates from someone trained by Grandmaster Rickson and this is in the white belt curriculum. There’s also the “wrong side seatbelt escape” if the person behind forces you to the other side. Beautiful stuff. Rickson Gracie Jiu Jitsu is what I’ll be learning the rest of me life

I saw something say Rickson has a black belt in Judo now! Which Judo isn’t JiuJitsu or vice versa! But is it true? Why don’t any Gracies engage Daitoryu? Their expertise and ingrained comprehension, it’d seem they’d grasp it quickly! Daitoryu maybe being more gentlemanly???!

Don’t get me wrong I love his advice for most of his teachings but how is that he able to step out?.. I feel like this isn’t a sufficient way to get out of back control. What if they have their legs locked in? What if they have their arms locked in from the neck?
