The Co-op for Portal Reloaded uses a similar concept - one player has the normal portal gun, one player has the time portal gun. It's insane and I love it

You can in fact do this in vanilla via console commands, but it will literally create 2 Chells

I'd like to see a variation of this, in the co-op mode, where one has the orange and red and the other has both blues, so that you have to remember which portal links up with the other player's portals
