You're so right. I tend to overthink the process sometimes and end up taking longer or making more work for myself. I've been detailing for 20 yrs but having ADHD and heavy anxiety always makes me doubt my work till I get to the next step and see that my work was actually right.

You know, I've seen lots of videos w lots of cool products. And spent enough $ to get what I like. Didn't go super crazy either. Now watching your videos is very educational, especially to my wallet. You make ToNS of sense when it comes to buying only what you need and products that are multi-use. I've learned more from your videos. Thank you !

Non-sponsored in all senses. Much appreciated. I have the stuff to use but didn't know that there was a difference between the pads.

Meguiars Ultimate Compound, Meguiars Ultimate Polish, and Meguiars hybrid ceramic wax all the way! It’s also good for beginners as well since these are safe on clear coat. If you use the pro chemical you gotta be careful as you can mess your paint up

Thanks Bro you really made it very simple to understand.
Because there are so many products in the market and for a layman to diy is very confusing.
This vedio was very informative and interesting.

The simplest description i ever hear. I'm thinking of polishing my vehicle bring out the new car sheen and was unsure of how to approach it. I was thinking using a compound with the 2nd pad

I dont know, man. Pan the organizer said that you dont just stick to one brand and anyone that does doesn't know what they're talking about. He mentioned in one of his recent vids to various brand compounds because sometimes your favorite brand compound might not be able to cut the hard clear coat and a more aggresive compou d might be necessary that isnt available from your favorite brand.

What about waxing? Does that come after polish?

I’ve polished over 70 cars in my years of owning cars. I’ve only ever needed to use a compound once and that was on single stage paint. 99% of the time you will need to use various pads and polish only. You’ll never get perfect show quality paint on a DD so don’t think down your clear coat with heavy compounds.
