Prigozhin’s death ‘expected’ as he made Putin look ‘weak’

If you're going to start a coup, the minute you pull that trigger you're on a road you can't come back from. Prigozhin was dead the minute he started it, unless he succeeded in overthrowing putin. Which might have worked given his support. But he blinked.

How about this for a theory. There was never a coup attempt. This episode was arranged by Putin. He is losing the so called Special Military Operation and Putin was concerned that some of his commanders were showing signs of contempt towards Putin so Putin embarked on a charade involving Prigozhin to flush out any disloyal commanders. So the scene was set. Prigozhin started publicly castigating Shoigu and Gerasimov about lack of ammunition when he obviously had plenty of supplies. This went on for 2 weeks until Bakhmut was taken and Prigozhin announced that Wagner forces were withdrawing to the rear.
Then Prigozhin announces that his troops had been shelled by the Russian army publicising video footage showing some tree branches being snapped off in a wooded area.(I've seen more damage caused by boy scouts setting up a campsite) and he announces he's going to go on a March for Justice. He travels with his convoy of troops, unopposed to Rostov-on-Don and sits chatting with the Deputy Defence Minister and remains there whilst his convoy continues towards Moscow. What is surprising is that they get within 40km of Moscow before any attempt is made to stop them, then after one skirmish he calls a halt to it all.
My guess is that certain commanders were ordered to stop Prigozhin but none did. The Chechen troops at least tried to follow them but Putin discovered the commanders who were not so loyal and over the next few weeks these commanders were removed. That was the only reason this was set up, but Putin being Putin didn't want anyone to know about this little scheme and the only one who knew was Prigozhin and his closest commanders so Putin arranged their demise. No witnesses. Just the way Putin likes it.7:35

Not saying Russia is the good guy here, but Ukraine is only strong because of international support.

If it played out differently, if the world treated it the same as Palestine., Ukraine would have been Russia a year ago.
