Coming from South Dakota this is a very real problem. Not even mentioned in mainstream news. In fact there are commercials all over SD saying how "beneficial" it is to the U.S.

The natives who fought against this are truly amazing. When people from the Dutch province Groningen were fighting against further gas-extraction (because it's causing local earthquakes that damages buildings) the tribe visited them for mutual support. They also visited similar protest movements in other EU countries to create a support network. Love the strength, strategy, and compassion of these people.
