I love this song for so many reasons.. I think in life it is so easy to lose your way. It’s so easy for your faith to be broken. We as human beings we get lost in a routine and we forget how important communication and intimacy are. We forget how important it is to tell our significant other how much they mean to us and how much we appreciate them. We forget to connect. Mentally, physically, and emotionally. Been together with my husband 5 years on March 10th. I think every couple goes through this, me and my husband grew up together from the beginning of our relationship. We had a lot of these emotions when we first had our son. I was newly 18 and a few weeks before Graduation found out I was almost 6 months pregnant(had no idea been sick but all blood test said I wasn’t pregnant) I had gotten into my dream college but than a lil boy became our priority. We lost parts of ourselves as we became parents. And I think people forget our way as we try to find who we are as a new identity is almost every new stage of life. Beautiful song. With a great depth of meaning for many people. This is truly what songwriting is about.
