I had spent 17 years in an abusive marriage. And I finally had the courage to leave with my two kids (6 & 2) and 1 suitcase…. Several months after I had left, the man I am married to now walked into my church. He asked his cousin who I was and told him for some reason he felt like he was going to marry me one day. He pursued me and helped me on my journey to begin to heal. He reminded me of my worth. We began a relationship and I was loved like I have never been loved before. But after a year, I decided to call it quits. I didn’t feel like either one of us was ready. I realized I still had so much healing to do and there were some things that he needed to deal with as well. We spent almost 3 years apart. He constantly tried to stay in contact, but I was just really focused on being a better me and my kids. Then almost 2 yrs ago God officially brought us back to each other. And this time we were exactly who we needed to be for one another. We’ve been married for a year and I’m so in love and so happy. I’m thankful he never gave up loving me

I met my boyfriend through his grandma. She had went shopping at the store i worked at, said she needed some help with getting dog food, so I helped her she then invited me to a church party. I than begin to hangout with her grandson and that’s how he and I met ❤️❤️

I met my husband in 1988, and we dated for 3 months broke up but remained friends. He was in the Navy, so whenever he was back in Virginia, he would come visit. I had not seen him in 15 years, but my mother died in 2013 and he showed up out the blue to help me through my lost. We have now been happy for 10 years and counting. He is my person and that's what love is.

The first time I heard this song, it reminded so much of my husband and I! We were honestly on the brink of divorce, we had grown so far apart far apart over the past 10 years of our marriage. Then one night he came home and found me packing. That was the first time in years that we actually sat down and talked about our true feelings. The next day I heard this song and it was the “story of my marriage” all over! We have lost parents, friends, our kids grew up and moved away, and now here we are learning how to love each other again!
I then sent this song to my daughter, and now she wants to use this song in her wedding!

I’m getting married this weekend after bringing our wedding 5 months forward.
Our son was diagnosed in 2020 with stage 3 Neuroblastoma at the tender age of 5 years old. My fiancé and I fought for his life to get through his treatment. 5 gruelling rounds of chemotherapy and 14 rounds of radiation and last week on may 19th we received the devastating news that his cancer has come back.

Now we’re fighting against the clock to get down the aisle before he’s too sick to be there. This song hits home for so many reasons. We’ve struggled so hard, lost jobs, couldn’t pay bills and had friends turn their backs when we needed it the most.

I’ll be walking down the aisle to my best friend with this song playing. Thank you for making such a perfect song. ❤️
