Regarding Ukraine, NATO should just say, "We're going to allow Ukraine to join NATO in six months. Attacks on Ukraine by any country at that time will be handled the same as any NATO member. Russia might want to consider their options between now and then, but we won't tell them what to do - just as Russia can't tell NATO what to do."

Re: NASDAQ halting trading (twice) of a minor social media company for five-minute cooling-off periods on Sep 13: this is _routine_ procedure when major news emerges regarding the stock (in this case, tRump announced he was not going to sell his shares, so the stock shot up). The temporary pause gives emotion-fueled investors a few minutes to cool off. It is _normal_ standard procedure and happens frequently. If tRump had _any_ understanding of how the market works, he'd know that, and wouldn't be taking a routine event as a personal attack. Sigh.

These types of halts are very common. Such halts are mandated by federal regulators and have been in place since 2013 across the entire US exchange listed stock market. Single-stock trading pauses, AKA, ‘Limit up/Limit down, ’ are SEC-mandated and designed to protect both companies and investors, to minimize excess volatility in a single stock or the wider market.
Trump’s threat to move his stock from Nasdaq to NYSE would have no effect since both Nasdaq and NYSE both follow the same SEC rules.
Simply put, It's a rule to prevent Rug Pulls, but I'm sure Donald is aware of this.
