SIU is wrong to focus on Andre de Ruyter: Outa

The Democratic Alliance has called on MPs and law enforcement agencies to display the same energy when pursuing corruption at SOEs that they're displaying in pursuit of former Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter.

This call was made when law enforcement agencies updated Parliament's Standing Committee on Public Accounts on their processing of the unauthorised investigation and subsequent report into sabotage and looting at Eskom.

De Ruyter commissioned the report without the authorisation of the board.

Various law enforcement agencies appeared before Parliament's SCOPA to update the committee on their handling of the report.
