One of the greatest montages ever created. 10/10 music, plot and screen play. This should be a go to for everyone.

Unlike the big budget Disney action movies nowadays like Marvels, Bloodsport will forever live on as a cult classic. A true hero's journey.

I get emotional every time I watch this scene. It is evident that Dux is deeply determined to make his Shidoshi proud, honour him, and ensure that his family's teachings do not die. Moments like these embody the emotional depth and sincerity that set this film apart from the rest, and it is precisely these elements that elevate Bloodsport into the realm of being a true classic.

This is such a powerful scene. Mentor endowing trainee with knowledge, training, and technique. This type of mentor experience is a lost art.

This is my absolute favorite training montage from a film. The score makes it.

So many MMA fighters of the past from PRIDE and UFC mentioned they grew up watching Bloodsport & Kickboxer and especially JCVD. He is the biggest inspiration to us all in the 80s/90s.

I absolutely love that moment at 3:53 where Senzo gives his wife that knowing look and smile. In all his training scenes with Frank he stays stoic and stern faced, but the candidness he shows with his wife while Frank is blindfolded does a perfect job of illustrating how proud he is in that moment. Then in the final scene of this training montage, when he presents Frank with the katana, you can see the tiniest little hint of a smile across Senzo's face. Roy Chiao's performance as Tanaka was incredible.

What I like most about this movie is the message. Even in bad times and loss you don't have to give up yourself, it's about to find reasons to live and go further and beyond.

Maybe the best montage scene in movie history. The part with the tea serving when the music calms down perfectly capturing the "he is ready" moment.

I was just watching this move yesterday, 09/30/2023 at 11PM. I was getting ready to sleep, the raindrops were falling from my roof onto the ground, my window halfway open just enough to enjoy the wind. Oh man oh man, how relaxing was to see this scene, feeling the mild cold breeze and smelling the wet grass, reflecting on my mind soul and spirit...
