Game devs create these spec sheets by testing games and check whether they reach adequate performance they don't consider market pricing and availability rather they give importance to what gamers as a whole have in there pc they provide support for low end parts in order to make game accessible to more audience not just ppl who built a pc last year or 2

8700k is actually still a very capable cpu and at 4k the gpu will be doing most of the work. tbh it's a minimum bar so anything above a 1600x is good for recommend which is fine and I can confirm the 6700k and RTX3060 run the game at well over 60fps at high settings as stated by the developer.

i7 6700K was always paired with a GTX 1080Ti back in 2016/17. I don't think it's a bad combo. btw, RIP to the days where we used to be able to build the highest end consumer PC for the price of a 4090.

good to note that radeon usually runs faster than nvidia in cod games so the rx 7600 is a good choice too if you want a new gen card

I recommend cutting out little circles of white vinyl to put over the fan labels, especially when you've rotated them 90°. Makes it much cleaner!

I agree the bottleneck for i7-8700k and rtx 3080 is a huge bottleneck at 1080p, but if you are gaming at 4k its not that bad. Which is what they are recommending with that setup. You only get around 7.2% bottleneck at 4k with the same calculator you used. When you check for bottlenecks with that program you should also match their recommended resolution. Remember they are recommending that setup at 4k, not 1080p!

I used the "Can you run it" tool to see if my system specs can run modern warfare 3 and it passed the minimim requirements. I have an i7 8700k, GTX 1060 6GB, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. I haven't tried playing the game on my PC yet but I don't need ultra settings.😮

That bottleneck calculator says that a 7800X3D would bottleneck a 4070ti by around 30%, so I don’t know how much stock I would put into that as a useful tool.

I use a R5 5600 paired with a RX 6700XT my secondary PC is a R5 3600 with an RX 7600. The chip I have used in my dad's and my nephew's is the R5 3600 the GPU very depending on the Age of user.

I love the idea of upgradability, but I got a Ryzen 7 1800x for upgradability, but I'm looking to upgrade now and I'm probably not even sticking with am4, so I guess the option is nice but I don't upgrade every couple years
