The M4 MacBook Pro has been out for 3 months and even thought I claimed that the M4 Pro MacBook Pro was the better bang-for-buck purchase in my original comparison video, I've learned a lot since then. So in this review video, we discuss everything about the M4 MacBook Pro: the design, performance, fan noise, nano texture display, and more. I was struggling between M4 and M4 Pro (with same 24GB/1TB specs). The M4 Pro was only 350€ more expensive than the base M4, I could have afford that. But then I decided to order the M4 because I use the computer at home in light tasks (Word, Excel, web browsing, watching Youtube, some photo editing). I think I would never need the extra speed of M4 Pro. The only thing that is important is maximum battery life. I hope I made right decision.

I'm using the M4 MacBook Pro, and I can confirm that all the things he'd mentioned is true. Man, the battery life I'm getting on this machine is simply insane! I'm talking about 15 to 17 hours of casual usage comfortably, with 20% to 25% battery remaining!

Spot on review. I own the MacBook Pro with M4 Pro chip and 24 gig of ram. I also have the 1 TB SSD. I like having the xtra ram for now and later.

I love my 14. I came from an M1 16 inch. I especially noticed the quantum dot as 120hz feels smoother somehow.

16 gigs isnt even enough for most people anymore. The processing power is exponentially growing so rapidly I can already see 16 getting maxed out

I have an M4 MB Pro 14" with just the 16GB of ram and had no problems with it so far. However, I am NOT a power user running multiple heavy apps at at time either. I edit 4K video with Final Cut Pro, run office apps for work, and peruse YouTube.... This replaced my OLD mid 2012 macbook pro that has the 2.3Ghz Quad-core Intel i7, 16 GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 ram, and Intel HD 1536mb graphics, running Mac Os Catalina. It still runs great, but just isn't up to task with video editing anymore.
