As someone who has a peanut allergy, I can eat five guys burgers and fries without any issue this is because most people with peanut allergies are allergic to the protein found in peanuts and when cooked these proteins burn off leaving you with a hypoallergenic peanut product.

Since they’re one of the few places that uses peanut oil, they also get a discount when they buy the shelled peanuts, and the oil as well, kinda like a package deal, and peanuts are not expensive, you can buy shelled ones at Costco for $2 per pound, imagine what 5 guys pays when they buy tens of thousands of pounds

In the middle east most restaurants will give you water, tea, soup of some kind, small side dishes, for free while waiting for your order

I worked at five guys for a while, the 2nd reason is exactly it. (Burgers dont take much longer to cook, at least in prep time we had to get burgers, fries, and everything out within 7 minutes or the customer got a comp card)

Recently a five guys opened in Sweden and all I’ve seen is people talking about how ridiculously high the prices are, let’s say I want to get a small burger with medium fries and no drink, that’s 21, 8$, for a small burger.

Fries prices are:

Small: 5, 9$
Medium: 7, 9$
Large: 9, 9$

I can get a big creole fries bag with chili sauce, cheese, jalapeño and onions for 4, 9$ at multiple places here.

He forgot the most important thing: The Peanuts are heavily salted and this makes you thirsty quickly.

Also, please keep in mind that allergies are different for everyone, and it’s the person’s choice whether to be exposed to potential allergens or not. That, and if one has an allergy, they should consult an allergist and/or dietitian. For today's prices you should get 2 free cheeseburgers with everyone you buy. One and done for me. It was a better burger than most restaurants but for the price of one I can make several at home that are even better.

I've been to 3 of their restaurants, but I've NEVER seen those peanuts around? However, the ones I've been to were very compact in size and barely even had any tables.

For the price of a normal five guys meal I could get a big takeout box from a food truck and have food for 2 days.

Mid burger place. Literally go anywhere else for burgers.
