In 1999 and in 2001 two separate incidents happened to two young women living in Adelaide, Australia. Maya Jakic's 1999 case went unsolved for several years until a woman named Megumi Suzuki went missing in 2001. An interesting series of events connected the two cases, but it would be one mystery call that would be the killer's downfall.

I can’t imagine how Megumi’s boyfriend must feel knowing Megumi was potentially outside of his home, just before her death, while he was out visiting a friend. I hope he doesn’t feel guilty for not being there, it’s absolutely not his fault. :(
