Dust Devil Interrupts Kids’ Baseball Practice #Shorts

A dust devil took center field at a youth baseball practice in Alabama. According to the National Weather service, a dust devil “is a funnel-like chimney” where “hot air moves both upward and circularly.” They aren’t as big as tornadoes, but fast moving dust devils can be destructive and cause injury.

At AZ, I was at P.E in the red sand, and a GIANT dust devil started up! Of course all the little kids were at recess, so everyone rushed to see it. It was kinda fun lol
