I have become more focused on finishes as well, and pay attention to what I spend, so that is definitely an improvement over last year. For me, it's about mindfulness. I've seen that snow ornament a million times and I never noticed that it actually said "snow"! It is so cute. I would love to see how you do your hoop finishing. I absolutely love Stephanie too!! I have to stitch her freebies the second I receive them.

Oh brother. I can't believe anyone say anything about your participation in a challenge. I have to admit that I join them all but rarely participate. I did follow through on 1 and I was pretty proud of myself! Lol. Your finishes are beautiful! I am working on my first 40ct too and I feel the same way. I love it!! So glad you said you would do a tutorial on how you finish your pieces. I finished one using a hoop and tried to do it like you said. Not sure I did a very good job!

The irony of those lacking the humour to understand your post about a prize for the $negative balance is the majority of those I've seen "participating" in stitch from stash went on a panicked huge buying frenzy in the dying days & hours of 2016. Thus defeating the purpose before the year began. Go for it! Support the wonderful suppliers of all the beautiful things we need and desire for our stitching. If too many of us decided to stop buying, then lack of business would close some down and drive prices up. Happy stitching :-)

I think you were thinking of me as you stitched that "Nasty Woman" piece. Love it! DBCS looks amazing and I love the variegation effect that the thread gives to the piece. It's almost like texture in a way. People from Stitch from Stash take the whole concept to serious. You do not need to explain yourself or how much you spend to anyone. They are just jealous they aren't in the red as far as you are. ;)

Love your finishes :) I am in Froggin as well and also will be doing one ornies month - I'm no good at finishing and would prefer to stitch than stress about getting something finished in a particular way. I love the SALs in the group and the Stitch Maynia SALs - they are great fun! :)
